Welcome to Mushrooms School. By using this website, taking a course or creating an account, you agree to these terms. We have deliberately kept them short and readable.

A free platform

All courses, articles and materials on Mushrooms School are free. You cannot buy anything here: there are no memberships, no paywalls and no purchases on this site.

Accounts are optional

You can use almost everything on this platform without an account. An account (email + password) exists only to save your course progress and earn certificates. If you are under 16, please only sign up with the OK of a parent or guardian.

Educational content

Everything on this platform is educational. We do our best to keep the content accurate and up to date, but learning about nature also means things can change as the science moves on. Never eat wild-picked mushrooms — work only with the safe, edible species from a grow kit.

Be kind

This is a place where children learn too. Do not use the platform for unlawful purposes, to harm others, or to disrupt the operation or security of the service. We may close accounts that breach these terms.

Grow kits and the shop

Our grow kits are sold in a separate, external shop. Purchases there are governed by that shop's terms — not by these terms. This site processes no orders and no payments.

Limitation of liability

We prepare our content with the greatest care, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for any damage arising from the use of the site or the content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands.
